No offense but I don't want another African player especially in the forward line as we will lose them all to the African cup.

maybe we should be looking at someone that offers something different to what we currently have. like Patrick Shick or Roman Yaremchuck... Origi got to go of course.

Agree, nothing about offense, now that African Cup is in Jan it's a big issue

That means we will be interested in him in 2 years for about £75 million.

I get how we want players to prove themselves at the next level before we buy, but I think the model of picking up the likes of Mane & Salah when proven for £30 million has gone, the prices are huge now as the likes of Leicester do not need to sell to balance the books.

Though you have a good point, I don't think we should have gone for Daka, because we cannot have another African forward. We should for example have bought Haaland who would have been worth 4 times tge price but we were not ready to take a risk for such a young player. Maybe we should recruit the scouting team of Dortmund

TBH I know nothing of Daka, before the reports linking us I had never heard of him!!! my comment is more on our policy of buying players when they establish themselves, which was successful, but now I think we will need to take more risks buying up and coming players, as the 'proven' players are now getting beyond our price range and the clubs who have them do not have to sell to balance the books.
