There is a story on the home page about how Roy is trying to bring in Arda Turan. This is great news in my opinion. Also, Joe Cole's agent is apparently talking with us. Mascherano's agent thinks if he goes a deal will be done towards the end of the transfer window and he favors Barca over Inter. Intersting stuff....

Me thinks this is more to do with getting him at a cheaper price than they were quoted. They can get stuffed if they think they can get him cheap, i would rather keep him.

me too, i think its cheeky the way clubs wait until the end of the transfer window to leave, meaning that we would have to find a quick replacement

dont really know how he would fit into the team, centre forward or second striker?

and also fc twente's costa rican striker bryan ruiz according to the daily mail. he scored 24 goals last season. watched a couple of videos he does look good but i havent seen him at all in a full game.

Only 1 problem with that story. It says Hodgson needs to seek a replacement for left back, however we already need 1 at least for cover. Insua goes & we have no left backs at all.

We should definetly make a move for Bryan Ruiz. He is one of the best young strikers around.

never heard of him tbh but seems to have had a good season at twente.

Decided to talk to my cousin yesterday about this guy (he lives/works in Holland) and he is buzzing (being a Liverpool fan) he said even if Torres doesn't go we should buy this guy, he is one of those players that should be labelled world class.

To be honest I don't know him or never saw him so i would like a second opinion anyone?
