That's is something positive from today. Sorry to put a downer on it though, but they might be doing that to get more customers.

The joe cole odds changed today. Before hodgson took over we were 33/1 and i last had a look friday we were at 8/1. Either something could be going on, or someone has put a large sum of money on it. Very interesting odds thou 4/5 making us bookies favourites.

I think both of those players are essential to our squad, especially the LB position. I really hope hodgson can keep the young talent at liverpool including pacheco because we seriously need to start developing a player or two instead of just buying them all the time.

It has been reported that Daniel Ayala wants to return back to Spain now that Rafa has gone. It appears he's heading to Real Vallodolid on loan for now. Personally, I don't see the point in this as I believe we should cash in on him now instead of waiting until his contract runs out. I like him and don't want him to go as I reckon he has a decent future ahead of him.

Liverpool boss Hodgson targets FC Twente star Bryan Ruiz

Fulham Liverpool FC Twente star Bryan Ruiz is a target for new Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson. The Daily Mail says Hodgson watched him on several occasions last season with a view to signing him for Fulham. But he would have needed to smash Fulham’s transfer record and was forced to concede Ruiz was outside their price range.Ruiz has seen his value treble since ex-England boss Steve McClaren snapped him up just a year ago for five million euros from Belgian club Ghent.Hodgson is now lining up a £12.5million move for the Costa Rica international

Chelsea & Liverpool interested in £32.5m Man City loanee
11:21 AM 06 July, 2010
Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly interested in Manchester City's Robinho.

The Brazil international has already been offered to Valencia on a season-long loan deal, but the Spanish club lack the funds to conclude a deal.

Chelsea are ready to offer City the best financial terms and willing to pay 100% of Robinho's wages.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are thought to be ready to pay City £80,000 on a weekly basis for Robinho, who is currently earning £150,000 per week.

The £32.5m City signing spent the second half of last season back in his homeland on loan at Santos and did enough to ensure he stayed in Brazil's squad for the World Cup.
