Many events are starting to be called off the first premiership game today it looks very likely minimum some games will be played behind closed doors or even cancelled within days. God knows what this means for this season

What we do know is that history will remember this season for Coronavirus, not our record breaking performances.

I don't think our global fans realise how at risk the season it is over here. Arsenal players now in self imposed quarantine for a fortnight meaning no training, so when they do come back, they're going to need 2 weeks to get back up to speed. A couple more teams doing the same and bigger picture goes from bad to unmanageable very quickly..

I think the league will be ceased rather sooner than later and we will be proclaimed champions with United losing out on CL, I'm ok with that given the circumstances.

If they end the season early, I cannot see how they can declare us champions without all the other league positions being declared, so the bottom 3 relegation positions and the top 4 CL qualification as is, the likes of Norwich, Villa and Man Utd aren't going to agree to that as they are still fighting to stay up/top 4.

If they end they season early without completing ALL games, I think it will be declared null & void as a season.

Throw in the calamity of VAR and I think everyone would be happy to restart the season again in August, apart from Liverpool fans of course.

The season is too far gone to declare it null & void. The only way the season would get wiped is if this virus mortality rate gets far, far worse. As it stands the virus is only affecting the very old and infirm.

We are only talking a matter of 2 weeks when the winner of The PL "should" be confirmed. The complicated matter of relegation and European places will be the biggest issues.

The sensible course of action by The Government. PL/Football Leagues and FA would be to play games behind closed doors, starting this weekend. There's too many current issues of those involved in the game having to self quarantine for the 14 day period, as is the case for the Arsenal Staff and players who were around the Nott'm Forest Owner hence why tonight's City v Arsenal game was cancelled.

To allow mass gatherings going forward will only complicate matters with further games being postponed until we get to a point where the logistics of rearranging games become impossible.

PL is a competition with 38 rounds defined at the start, if 38 rounds have not been completed, it has not finished as per the rules, so it is incomplete, so the results cannot be declared.

Unfair for us as we have a great lead and are so close, but I cannot see how the integrity of the league can be maintained by giving us the PL title without completing all 38 rounds of games.

Same go's for relegated/CL qualifiers.

I can see FIFA/Uefa doing this, as it is affecting all national FA's now, so individual country FA's cannot handle it, as it also affects European/International football, so they will make a ruling across all leagues that teams will need to abide by.

I just cannot see another way to handle this now. I doubt Italy will complete their Serie A season, it is already suspended 4 weeks, Juve, Napoli & Atalanta(now in QF draw) are still in the CL, so how can they play games if they have not played for weeks and are banned form hosting games in Italy?
