I doubt we will get there as it stands atm. We play good and will qualify for CL. We are that good. But it seems we can't win a competition to save our lives. Bottled it again! frown

Klopp is a winner, he's won 2 Bundesliga, we would have won the PL this year but we are up against an exceptional City team who have built a better/stronger squad, unless we spend like City have over the last 10 years it will be difficult to beat them, to be so close and close a 25+ points gap from last season is a huge achievement.

We have bottled nothing, we have lost 1 PL game all season, we have not fell apart, we were beaten by a more clinical team tonight and were abit unlucky at times with missed chances.

I know he's won the Bundesliga 2 times in a row with Borussia Dortmund.

That bit was somewhat unfair from me.

But what I meant was that he has been no winner since he came to LFC. If anything he seems to be afraid to lose in the bigger games.

That's when he suddenly starts thinking too much for my liking. I mean what is the idea of not playing Trent? He has 3 players who got into the PL team of the year. One of those is Trent. Just because we are up against Barcelona he opts for Gomez instead. Every man and his dog knows that Gomez is pants at fullback. Why??? And if Gomez is back to full fitness - shouldn't he then replace Matip who we all know isn't as good as Gomez at CB?

Klopp didn't do HIS job. But that all of Salah, Mané and Milner missed absolute sitters has of course nothing to do with Klopp and his team selection.

That we are doing extremely good in PL this year and are up against City on steroids has nothing to do with us bottling it. What I mean is that we have had the chance, but again Klopp has at a number of times gone for the safe option with his team selections. And that hasn't paid off! Why did he for example set up that negatively away against Man U? A 0-0 draw against them wasn't what we needed! The same when we played City away. The industrous midfield of Milner-Henderson-Wijnaldum was selected. That's going for the safe option again. Didn't work that time either.

Oh, and what probably will cost us the PL title isn't the 1 game that we lost. It's again all the draws - 7 now and counting! Same story as back in 2008-2009 by the way - we only lost 2 games then, but drew 12!

Just saw the other day that we are 2:nd in the top 6 table. 19 points from those 10 games. City lead it on 25 points! So in other words we are better than them against the lower teams. But they probably won the league against the top teams.

Luis is brilliant. His celebration was fine by me. What a player he is. I really love his hunger to win and keep that football, even when he gets fouled he wants to charge onwards and score.

He loves Liverpool and the fans. Just let the lad celebrate scoring for his current club. Fair play and no hard feelings.

He has a hunger to win and at any price. He doesn't seem to respect anybody which is his choice and I have no issues with that. However, I feel no obligation or will to keep loving him, he is no part of LFC anymore and remains a cheat.

It was a cruel night. Salah's open net miss could've made it 2-1 and a completely different scenario. I'd have actually fancied us taking 1-2 to Anfield.

They can't let this distract them from Newcastle now, there's still a PL to win and one more big European night at Anfield to live in legend.

Two things showed for me and that's Barca are vulnerable, and this Liverpool team are very close to greatness.

Look at Babel’s reaction after he scored against us , or Salah after scoring against Roma and Chelsea, that’s how a classy player behaves. Can’t wait for this racist, goofy animal to come to Anfield next week, I’m sure a “warm” welcome awaits mad

I don’t see the problem with him celebrating. It means nothing more than he is happy to have scored for his current club and why shouldn’t he be? If players want to react differently then fine too.

Can't believe this is even a topic.

Hed celebrate if he scored against Ajax and when he leaves Barca he'd celebrate if he scored against them.

The guy is a winner that's why we loved him. He'd celebrate if he scored a tap in against his Nan.
