Mm.

A shame we had Suarez when the rest of the club/team was so poor.

Imagine having him now. We would have walked the PL this season with a winner like that.

Klopp is no winner, and apart from Milner we have no other players who have won the PL before.

I doubt we will get there as it stands atm. We play good and will qualify for CL. We are that good. But it seems we can't win a competition to save our lives. Bottled it again! frown

exactly. he was always a rat. He used to be our rat, now he's someone elses, but it certainly burned a few bridges tonight. To be honest if he got hit by a bus tomorrow i wouldn't give a fck now, he was going around like a scald bag tonight.

Klopp is a winner, he's won 2 Bundesliga, we would have won the PL this year but we are up against an exceptional City team who have built a better/stronger squad, unless we spend like City have over the last 10 years it will be difficult to beat them, to be so close and close a 25+ points gap from last season is a huge achievement.

We have bottled nothing, we have lost 1 PL game all season, we have not fell apart, we were beaten by a more clinical team tonight and were abit unlucky at times with missed chances.

We didn't take our chances and were abit unlucky with Salah hitting the post, we could have had a penalty near the start, I thought the ref did well, didn't fall for all Barca's rolling around. If we would have put one of those chances away, it could have been allot different.

Barca did what the best teams can do, they dug in and waited for their chances and took them, we dominated large parts of that game, Barca struggled to match our movement/energy and their passing really went off.

We looked pretty comfortable in the first 25 minutes of the second half. They were lucky with the second goal, the ball bounced off the cross bar to Messi, the third goal was a tremendouse free kick, but I think Alisson should have done better.

I don't get where you think we pis5ed our pants??? we went for it towards the end being 3-0 down, we were naive, we went too much for a goal, i understand why as an away goal means so much, but maybe at 2-0 we should have just shut up shop and took the 2-0.

Is that as good as we can play? It's the same crisis of confidence that had haunted us before. I'm probably a little frustrated tonight but we're better than that. Why can't we turn up on the big stage and when it counts?

Absolutely agree mate!

Just watching the game now which is hard after you already know the result. But I am taking my medicine because I believe we have a fantastic team of winners. I have had people who know nothing about Liverpool or football taking the pi$$ all night at work because we got beat 3-0. Mane and Salah gave them a lot of trouble first half. Lenglet struggled with Salah for pace and movement and Mane just needed a bit more luck as he was certainly lively enough.

The antics of Messi rolling around and waving the invisible card showed they were scared. Goals 2 and 3 give them the breathing space but it would be foolish to write us off.

The telling factor may not be the scoreline tonight but more to do with Barcelona almost certainly resting all 11 players at the weekend as they have already won their league.

I loved Suarez at Liverpool but we don't pay his wages anymore so why shouldn't he celebrate? So when he comes back next week the fans can give him a warm welcome and then be hostile to him for the next 90 minutes.

I hear people go on about winners. To be winners you must do what it takes to win. Last time I looked at the rules of CL semi finals it stated 2 legs will take place. If you think we are out of this hang your heads in shame. If you have a ticket for next week and think we cannot win do me a favour and sell me your ticket. If you are going next week and know we can win then do what you need to do legally to help us win. If that means you boo Suarez and Coutinho then do it. They are being paid by our opponents to win and don't care about you regardless of what they said when they left. You are paying to see your team win.

The professional fans at Anfield CAN see us through this.

The antics he and messi did today was classless. Everytime someone touched them they reacted like someone hit their kids. Pathetic display. I knew Suarez was like this before but I lost all my respect for messi today. What a [oops].

It's not about being happy or not but respect to the club you liked. But you cannot expect something like that from somebody like Suarez, who doesn't know what that word means. Great player but has always been a cheat and low morals.
