Roy Hodgson may not be my first choice but I'll definitely back him 100% all the way. Let be grateful that the club will have a well-experienced manager with the ability to motivate a team, like attacking football and won't rant like Rafa.

No, Not really, we needed a manager in for the start of the season, Roy may still be the manager when/if we get new owners, just because we get new owners doesnt mean that we will get a world class manager, Yes its likely we will get a world class manager if we get new owners but people are thinking that just because we are appointing a manager then the takeover is looking bad, in fact its not, this is very good.

Think of it this way, you go to buy a car, but the owner tells you that it is missing its wheels (Manager and staff) then are you going to buy it? even though its still the same price as a car with Wheels?

The club needs to "Look" Healthy for a potential takeover. By Healthy i mean, Up and running, Winning games... etc..

Getting a manager is a good thing guys, Roy will probs bring some of his staff along as well...

I prefer to look at the positives and be upbeat about things instead of Sitting looking at my computer feeling slightly depressed typing on a forum about how much debt and how much the club needs new owners etc...

BE HAPPY! WE HAVE A NEW MANAGER! FRESH START! ARSENAL WATCH OUT!

I will support Hogdson even tho like others he is not my first choice. Also, I think it suggests we are not likely heading for a quick take over. I think it more likely Hogdson has been brought in because he knows how to manage a team on a tight budget.

OK, Roy is all but certainly in now. So for me no more moaning about him getting the job. If players want to go ( and are not been sold by club to service debt) then goodbye and thanks for trying. But Roy better get the money (can't see it) for players of the same quality to bring in. GOODLUCK ROY YNWA

I think what we have to understand is the influence that Roy could have that Rafa never did. (before you slate I was a pro Rafa).
But Roy is an excellent man manager, look what he did at Fulham, revitalised Danny Murphy into the player we knew he can be. Turned Zamora into a player who couldn't hit the net for love or money into a striker that found the net more often than not.
Turned Duff into a semi decent winger again and turned Hanngeland into one of the prems best defenders.
We have players that need man mangement and he will be perfect. Oh and there will be no more Zonal marking smile
