He's only just turned 31. Contract expires in Jan. Would be worth grabbing him on a short term deal no? Could help us unlock a few defences in the run in and in the CL perhaps?

He's signed a 3 year deal with Monaco.

ah. I hadn't realised that he had signed. I suspect Chelsea wouldn't allow him to join us this season anyway.

I’m surprised he wasn’t suggested before. Not one for the pressing game but a quality player still.

FCk him anyway, was Arsenal club captain then went on to kiss the Chelsea badge. Pep doesn't even speak to him anymore which says it all. Rat.

Pete: Berg, I'm just not cut out to be a good person.
Berg: I know. That's why the Lord gave us good looks.

Brilliant player. In his prime he had it all. I cant see us making a move for him though. This is a new generation at Liverpool and the young guns are the future, not someone like Cesc. One of the best ever EPL players I reckon.

I wasn't really thinking of the future... just primarily for the rest of the season. Everyone saying we're lacking creativity in midfield. Someone like Cesc in their may be a huge boost for our title challenge and cup campaigns.

Nowhere near good enough for the PL top 6 teams now. He was very good at Arsenal and a shadow of that player when he came back here.

He's gone to Monaco. Fekir should be our target, i'm sick of Henderson. We wont win with him in midfield .
