I think we're finally heading towards a rotatable midfield and for me Wijnauldum is the key to that. Our most underrated player these days. Yes Derek, we seem to have arrived there at last. Wijnaldum is playing brilliantly this season, before that he seemed to go missing occasionally especially away from home, but now he's one of our most consistent performers, and playing really well.

Fab was fabulous! In total he won 18 (!) duels yesterday (in comparison to Henderson's average of 1.9 per game and Milner's 4.3. He had 90% passing accuracy, won 9 out of 12 tackles and also won every head duel he was engaged in (6). He created 2 goal opportunities and had 30% of his passes going forwards to one of the four offensive players - That is to be compared to Jordan Henderson's and Gini Wijnaldum's average of about 13% of their passes going forwards into the final third of the pitch. He was monumental! Hats off! klopp really knows what he buys in a player. At last he played the midfield I wanted to see. Same here, I also fancy seeing Fabinho/Keita/Shaq, the CL style game suited Fabinho last night with his experience, PL games are abit different with the pace and pressing, especially playing Warnocks Cardiff at the weekend, that won't be like a CL game ! If we play the same side 11 against Cardiff we should win 14-0.

I hope we do win by that much as I hate Warnock with a passion but he worries me. He’s one of those who’ll park the bus and frustrate. But at least we have a defence to keep us in games like that now.

Breaking such sides down has been our problem for yonks, hence the many defeats and draws down the years. Coutinho was always the one we looked to for that bit of magic, is Shaqueri the new Coutinho I wonder? His ex lent and creative passing in the Red Star game, would suggest he might be, it'll be interesting to see how he performs today assuming Klopp plays him.

Just seen on BBC gossip that Fab is being linked with PSG in January because he’s bored. Most likely ball hang but thought I’d put it out there.

Hope it's just silly gossip. I read some of the reports and nothing he "said" confirmed it all. If Hendo frequently gets the nod over him this month, I could see him getting pizzed off though.

I’ve always believed that bored should be spelt board and that board should be spelt bored. As you can tell I am also board, but won’t be looking to join the most boring league in Europe to expel my boardom.

Its just lazy paper talk as he played well in the last 2 games, so journo's have thought 'he's good, he won't sit waiting for a game at Liverpool', I expect he will get more and more games now, I'm hoping he plays tomorrow, to help break up the Arsenal MF play. If he's bored, imagine what it's like for Markovic..... https://www.teamtalk.com/news/euro-paper...-target-as-bait
