Bale has been hard done by at Madrid and I hope it's a lesson to others that no matter how good you think you are, when there are players like Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar around they will always call the shots. Bale upstaging Ronaldo in the Final was the final nail in the coffin on his Real Madrid career.

Also, he's on £350k a week. Call that £700k a week pro-rata because he's injured 50% of the time. There's no value in us signing him - never gonna happen.

There's no value in anyone signing him at £200m and his wages which is why Maureen will snap him up.

He'd be the ideal short term and expensive option to replace the ageing Ashley Young!
