Me too, but it isn't a given considering our recent performances against similar to lower PL opponents. Also, given that Klopp played his strongest side against Chelsea on Saturday last, he doesn't consider it a given either, and rightly so.

Nothing is ever a given regardless of who you're playing but we can beat Brighton and beat them easily.

I think the week off will give us ample amount of rest as it has in the past when we've started to look jaded so I see no reason for us to be so worried.

Tonights draw between Chelsea and Huddersfield has just made our task a lot easier, now all we need is a draw at home against Brighton on Sunday. A couple or three early goals and we can rest our front players, that would be useful.

Knowing Liverpool and the last day of the season when Shocks can occur we could get beat by Brighton albeit not likely. However Chelsea have to win at Newcastle right ? That's also by no means guaranteed so we can sleep a little better tonight

Chelsea have virtually no pressure. We have loads of pressure, a defence that has 'off moments', an attack that has abruptly started to misfire and we are playing a team that has absolutely nothing to lose.

To my mind, it's an almost perfect scenario for a Liverpool style implosion. If we beat Brighton, I'll be over the moon because I'm no way convinced that it'll be as plain sailing as some seem to believe.

How do Chelsea have no pressure? They need to win and we just need to draw...

He means that Chelsea have nothing to lose. Same as Brighton.

But our task just got a lot easier thanks to Wagner's Huddersfield. Now we don't have to bomb forward every minute and score. We just need to stay away from conceding.... Right that sounds reassuring when it comes to our defence, doesn't it? laugh

We should not have been in this position but there you are. I agree with D500 it's perfect for a shock Brighton heroically defending a one nil lead with their goalkeeper playing the game of his life as Chelsea breeze to a win over Newcastle. Hopefully if I say it now it won't happen. What we need is an early goal to calm things down a bit. I am also hopeful Newcastle will take at least a point of Chelsea
