I think the current owners need Dalglish to appease the supporters and the new owners couldn't wish to have a better man in charge. If the new owners care about the fans then dalglish would be their obvious choice. If Dalglish can't cut it, then the supporters will be the first to voice their concerns.

My own personal viewpoint is that there won't be new owners for some time, that H&G want to strip the club of all assets and they don't want one man with too much power.

It's not all about winning mate. If Kenny came back then he would actually go up in my estimation, even if he failed. It's not about winning or losing, it's the courage the man shows for the good of the club.

Well I don't think many would agree with your sentiments, as admirable as they are, IF LFC ended up in the bottom half of the table next season.

In an ideal world, King Kenny takes over and wins us the prem, FA cup, and Champions League in his first year back as manager again.
Sadly in the REAL world, this just ain't going to happen, and winning IS very important and probably the priority for most fans, like it or not.

If we'd won the PL title this year, Rafa would still be the manager today, simply because he won it for us.....if only. whistle

Wow, that's a bit harsh aint it?
I don't agree with alot of Emp's thoughts either, but I wouldn't go that far.

Unless you were joking, then in that case I appologize.

Manuel Pellegrini's is rumoured to have told friends over the weekend that he was heading for the Premier League but he also refused to say which club he was going to!

Me thinks that could be Liverpool.

You know if I worked half as hard as I do at looking stuff up about liverpool i'd be a rich man!
