Bad idea appointing a foreign manager again i think.
I have to agree with resurrected on this one. We do need to back to the old and trusted ways of doing things and who better than Dalglish.
Come on purslow and the rest of the board appoint him!!

Dalglish was never going to be appointed because then they could never get rid him because fans, media,ex players everyone would be up in arms. The trouble Dalglish has is that he is too popular, could you imagine if new owners came in and forced dalglish out for a big star manager! Not exactly the way new owners want to begin!! That's the reason Hodgson will be picked over Dalglish if Pellegrini falls through.

Whiskey is right... The fans would turn against the new owners if they sack Dalglish, meaning that not only will the fans not be happy, but the new owners will thick that we dont like them and could even put the club back up for sale...(i know this is a bit extreme,but it could happen) look at the yanks for example, everyone was happy at the beginning, then we started to dislike them, they now are selling the club, i personally want dalgish but i think it could be a bad move in the long run... If Hodgson is appointed then we wont be too fussed if he gets released for a better manager, mainly because he isnt a liverpool legend like King Kenny.

I just think that if we appoint Kenny then we "could" end up worse than we are now. He is a Liverpool Hero, We dont want him getting released for a Manager who doesnt really care about liverpool and is just there because he has been offered mega bucks.

This is just my personal opinion, i think if the Pelley deal falls through i think we should appoint Hodgeheg, Just to keep everyone at the club happy.
