The team that won the champions league had some great players what would we give today for Gerrard and alonso hypha and carragher at their peak ?

yes your quite right however for every Gerrard, Alonso, Sami and Carragher you had a Dudek, Traore, Baros and Harry Kewell.

Yeah, also had Traore & Sick note Kewell, we had some great players and some that were not good enough to win leagues, which is why we never won the PL with them, we always felt 2 or 3 quality players short, Man Utd & Chelsea always had quality players to bring on and change a game, we didn't.

Rumor is apparently AC Milan are after Daniel Sturridge. No doubt the rumor must have been planted by his manager. If his contract from Milan includes expenses for his entourage of homies and a commitment to clubbin and social media exposure and playing maybe the little bit of football, then I say yippee sign him up!

If AC Milan are after him it'll most probably be a loan deal. Personally I don't see the point in loaning out senior players.

If we can sign any strikers or attacking force (i.e. Moussa Dembele/ Lemar/Augbameyang) in Jan, we may need to ship out some of our senior players to free the salaries spaces and clear up some rosters for the new joiners.

However, I dont think Milan can afford salary of Daniel.

They might actually put up some cash as haven't they had some injection of money lately? But yeah, no point loaning him out.

Italian League is less physically demanding than the Premier League so a player fragile like Sturridge might flourish.
