Buying a player for next season when we need them now is kind of pointless. As KP has said a few times, he'll be coming to a Europa team at best. Had we invested for the now (doesn't mean buying another Hendo), we could still have done this deal and had improvements now when we need them. Same with VVD. What we did this summer makes no sense what so ever and will hurt us.
