No Shaggy we want it now, now, now, now or we'll spit our duties and cry until we do.
They can also buy us 6 new players too or we'll be relegated.

Who would we replace him with that is good enough to play in our system AND be happy to be a bit part player??? Sure, he's out of form but so is everyone else around him - and that's the problem. Granted he missed a few but I didn't see any of our other forwards threatening the Southampton goal very much.
If selling Sturridge means more game time for Origi then I pray that we keep Sturridge for another 15 years, because Divock is nowhere near good enough for the EPL!! We need another player in the same league as Mane, Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana and we will then play the 4 who are most in form among those 5. With our high intensity game especially upfront, players will be jaded or injured. A lower level back up as we have today is not going to be good enough as Origi is nowhere near and Sturridge is a different type player. I am sure a player a bit better than Lallana is not that difficult to sign.

Kalamazoo has been our top performer this year so it might be more difficult than you think.
I agree though but that'll be for the long term not now. I think we'll see a similar approach this summer to last where we go quality over quantity again. You can argue we should've got more in the summer but we've all seen what happens if you try and introduce too many players at once.

Agree we shouldn't introduce too many players in one go, this is why I think we should have signed a couple of players in this window and I find it hard to believe we cannot find the players who would reinforce our squad which is not that great.

Well yeah a couple would be nice to help out for the rest of the year. Seems Klopp can't find anyone though or they'll cost too much right now. I know, I know, it's an excuse but we have to trust his judgement.

we needed two new bodies just to freshen things up..then in the summer address the ongoing issues with leaving in soft soft goals all the time. I woulda been in the mix for robbie brady and maybe celtic dembele in jan..then sign an home grown proper defender aka carragher type in the summer..ur man keane from burnley- and a proper keeper too.

Klopp doesn't like strikers like Sturridge who is not willing to run. Very rarely have I seen Sturridge try and chase down the ball unless it's within 2 feet of him. His demeanor is awful and his pain threshold worse. Yes he scores goals but can never be trusted to put in a shift. I'm certain the club would bite the hand off any club that offered 15+ mill for him. It just annoys me that we have Sturridge and Sakho who are obviously not wanted by Klopp, burning a hole in our payroll when we could use them to bankroll some much needed additions to strengthen our threadbare squad because our greedy fe#king owners won't put their hands in their pockets...

Doing nothing won't solve the problem we have now tho ? Will it True, but buying players that are no better than what we have will make our problems even worse.

But why do we assume we have to buy players worse than what we have ? I don't get that I'm not saying we do, but we are obviously struggling to sign players that are better than what we have.
