I don't care how often he bigs himself up as the best striker in the club or how often our fans claim he is world class, this lad needs to be sold

All I sense at the moment is bad attitude coming from him and the living off past glories and lets be fair any cart horse would have scored goals playing with the genius that is Suarez.

Until we sell him, the spirit of the squad will be vastly negative.

Not sure about the attitude stuff but I agree he needs to be replaced. What does he bring to the team? He can't run with the ball, he can't pass. The one thing he was good at was being clinical, and from the looks of the last few games he can't even do that any more.

I'd rather see Origi in the team, atleast he has some pace and will try to take on his man rather than just shooting and missing from wherever he gets the ball

I think ha has been asked to play differently by Klopp and he is lost in confidence or just lost

We didn't create much though, I don't think we can blame 1 player, the whole team was rubbish.

With better service I still think he's a good striker, I guess none of us really know the effect the injuries have had on him, only our doctors/management will know and they are not going to say anything as we will want to sell him, can't see anyone bidding much in the summer based on his recent performances.

There is an article on the Sky Sports website showing how his pace has deteriorated year-on-year. We've all seen has he has adapted his game but last night it appeared that he was unable/unwilling to sprint for a ball which could have lead to a chance. He seems to have no mobility in one or both of his hips which can be seen when he missed the second glorious chance in the second half from a Milner cross I think. He would always have normally buried that.

The extent of the decline in his speed looking at the numbers in the article is alarming.

I think he is definitely finished at Liverpool and at any top club as a first or second choice striker. To think he was one of the best strikers in the world a few years ago. Very disappointing. I think we will struggle to replace him with someone of his quality.

Milner lofted one ball over for Sturridge to run on to, which Mane would have scampered after. Sturridge simply turned around and scowled at Milner.

Doesn't bring a thing to our team anymore, and the amount of sulking he does on the pitch must seriously affect the other players.

I would sell him for 15-20million this month.

Plenty of people earlier this season were demanding for Sturridge to be in the team, in the last few weeks he's shown exactly why Klopp doesn't want to play him.

Zero work rate, no pace, no movement, can't hold the ball up and weak in possession.

Unfortunately injuries appear to have ruined him which is a real shame.
