I remember back in 85/86 a friend of mine was a hairdresser and as I had great hair back then that was similar to Nicks,he used me as a model for a competition at the assembly rooms in Derby where I strutted my stuff to 'heard it through the grapevine',I kept my kecks on though and we smashed it.

yep I even remember the rip off advert with the similar feller, same music only difference being is two old middle aged fellers are sitting there naked and say " nah he doesn't wash his undies " think it might of been the carling black label advert, funny tho wonder if it's on YouTube...

I was talking in an earlier post about Wigan Athletic winning the F.A Cup well it's funny but watching the news before I see there old chairmen Dave Whelan has been honoured with a statue outside the stadium. Think this man deserves one with the way he transformed the Club, reminds me a bit of Jack Walker of Blackburn in some ways very traditional chairmen...
