I expect us to end up about 6th biggest club in the country in the next 15 years, I think once Chelsea and Spurs have moved into the new stadiums they will be stronger and although West Ham are struggling to adapt to there new home eventually it will pay dividends and the lure of London will prove an important factor. I think in 15 years time our main battle will be with Everton once they move into there new stadium which looks to be by the Docks, Everton have been very clever in cornering the local market and the kids now growing up in the City mostly support the blues as they can actively get out and support them. Going to be very interesting the football landscape in 15 years time much like 20 odd years ago when the big five were United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and Everton no City or Chelsea back then... I don't think so, Spurs will struggle for at least 10 years with the new stadium and unless Abraimovich bails out Chelsea, they will have the same problem. Gate revenue will be less and less inportant (though now we have more corporate seats) and our debt is among the lowest + we have a good manager. Young home grown players is not the future but identifying young talents in Europe is. TV money and Commercial revenue will keep on growing and the more success you have with exciting football, the better you will be. I disagree I don't think Spurs and Chelsea will suffer at all from moves to there new stadium in fact I think they will go from strength to strength, West Ham have struggled at the beginning but again, things will settle down and they will grow. I think the modern so called fan will eventually get fed up with watching on television and I'll want to actively support which means going to the match, anybody who attends games regularly will tell there is absolutely no comparison. The pull of London will prove a massive pull for those clubs in the area as they will always be able to draw on passing customers aswell as the hardcore, if your a tourist and can't get a ticket for a premiership game at the Emirates then you can just go and buy one for the City of London stadium and watch West Ham and vice versa, this in th future will pay dividends...

Liverpool could move forward if Klopp brings a lot of success which is possible but only within the constraints of FSG we might improve from where we are today but not maximise our full potential that's the point settling for less let me put it like that With the significant addition of corporate seats, importance of TV money, our worldwide brand and Klopp, we will be at least in the top 4 consistently. If only the oil prices remained low, then both City and Chelsea will be behind. I am sure of this.

I think you are being far too kind to the modern customer, the modern customer has clearly shown that it's success that drives them and that's why it's no coincidence Chelsea over the last 15 years have had the fastest growing customer base on the planet football wise. I think from a Liverpool customer base it's just the ones who have stayed with them through the glory years 30 years ago and some in the 90s who attached themselves while the Club was still regarded as a top Club. I would be very interested to see a table of customers acquired since the year 2000 as I am sure it would reflect what I am saying, I know we are the fourth best supported Club in the country worldwide and I also have noticed we don't fill our stadium for home games, nearly a thousand below capacity so I can't agree with your view we will consistantly be in the top four Clubs...

However imo he'll need a stronger squad and less problems in defence if we play in Europe next season. As for maximising our full potential, I agree we can't do that under FSG constraints, including their propensity for selling off their best performers. We're more likely to be consistent catch up strugglers than consummate top dogs, unfortunately.

Like someone earlier mentioned I think the real test for a Club is when they are competing in Europe aswell as the League, Leicester have shown smaller clubs can reach the top without Europe so this needs to be our aim however I honestly believe if we ever did win the League we would struggle like Leicester have this season as we can't compete with the big boys and Europe too. I really don't think FSG will ever budget to win major trophies, if they manage success then they will take it all day but putting there hands in there pocket to get it is an entirely different matter. This season is Liverpool's only real chance of League success as you won't get another season when the big clubs City, United and Chelsea all have brand new managers at the same time and need time to settle, no Europe too, for me the one and only chance as them clubs will all be stronger and better next season...

Anything whatsoever to back this up with Marine Boy?Klopp says he is only just starting where you getting your info from? I think I have said before the best method on these things is to look at the way football has worked. When I first started watching the Clubs called the shots and players were lucky to play for there clubs, it's the other way around now with players calling the shots and Clubs lucky to employ players. There is no way Shanks, Paisley and Jock Stein etc would of put up with players dictating to clubs like the modern ones do today, This brings me on to my point players and managers are different now, players move clubs for the good of there careers and financial benefit and managers treat Clubs like that too. A manager and player will always monoevere his career to play or manage one of the super clubs if he is good enough managers who what I would call in the second tier with massive potential but not achieved real success yet like Diego Simeone, Klopp, Koeman and Pochettino look set for good things and if they continue to improve will aim for a super club like City, Chelsea, United, Bayern, Real Madrid or Barca but they will all have to move Clubs to achieve greatness. Similar with players, they want to end up at one of the super clubs too if they manage to keep improving and progressing, I think people who don't believe this is how football works is being quite nieve or won't admit it, there odd exceptions but far and few between especially when managers and players don't have any real connection or ties with the club...
