so what do you suggest then, sign higuain even he is not very clinical?
if you're argument is that we don't have any goal machines because of finishing then it doesn't completely stack up.
36 Serie A goals for Higuaín last season, he is a perfect example of a clinical striker. he has averaged 5.2 shots per game in serie A! and have you seen the 1v1s he's missed for argentina, I'm not denying he's not good at shooting, but perfect example of a clinical striker, are you partly taking the p1ss!

Higuain is world class and we dont sign wold class players. If higuain was been sold for 40 million and said he wanted to go to liverpool, we still wouldnt sign him. Instead we would end up paying 30 million for Shane Long from Southampton. Its sad but true.

90mil buy out clause never gunna happen for us The buy out clause used to be put on to prevent a player being sold by putting a crazy buy out price on them, now its the fee you have to pay to get the player !!!

Sturridge hasn't had a serious injury since January and hopefully with this Kornmayer chap in charge of 'fitness & conditioning' we will see fewer injuries while improving athleticism and Sturridge will bang in 30 this season! I seriously doubt if Sturridge has the strength of character a.k.a. desire to put in 100% for 60 matches for one season. I don't think he really wants to. So he is not ever going to be the goal machine.

So he is not ever going to be the goal machine. And what are you basing that on? Any report of him being lazy or de-motivated has come from tabloids and it's been dismissed straight away by Sturridge, the club and most/ all LFC journalists. You'd have to be a special kind of stupid to be LFC's #1 striker, one of the best in the PL when fit and still not really want to score that many goals.

Ok.
I guess the other clubs he played for were wrong when they decided he wasn't good enough or he was a sick not or he didn't have the guts to cut it in the EPL.
I dont think he has the guts.
