Is it just me, or are we lacking a goal poaching demon in our starting 11?
Ings and Sturridge and Origi etc are not exactly capable of banging in 25 goals a season each, or even 20 for that matter.
With a real striker, you confidently expect them to score when they get a chance and you are genuinely surprised if they miss.
With our current crop of strikers it is a welcome surprise when the ball goes in.
A goal scoring demon would be Wunderbar! (repeat 3 times as in the song)

That is Sturridge when he's fit. Very rare to have more than one of those in a team let alone three.

Sturridge is more than capable of scoring 25. He just needs to stay fit for 30 games.
Ings got double figures for burnley so should again be able to get 20 he doesn't miss many.
Origi is actually very good. He gets headers. Poacher type goals and can hit from out side the box. I think he will surprise a few people

this thread doesn't really make sense to me, origi can be a goal machine but he is probably going to spurn a few as well, like that 1v1 against dortmund before half time, like the shot that hit the post against spurs in klopps first game in charge. strikers have to get into form more than most sometimes.
I don't think we're going to get suarez finishing, no team has that, kane misses chances, augero. all of our strikers are good/decent with their head, sturridge origi ings benteke firmino. sturridge finished the season averaging 3.4 shots per game and he scored 8 goals in 11 starts. so as long as the supply is high then the strikers should be able to do their job.

Only Sturridge is capable but impossible with injuries. Ings and Origi are not good enough.

Sturridge hasn't had a serious injury since January and hopefully with this Kornmayer chap in charge of 'fitness & conditioning' we will see fewer injuries while improving athleticism and Sturridge will bang in 30 this season!

I suppose its Sturridge if/when fit with Origi Ings etc waiting in the wings to hopefully do their stuff, but I want to see goals coming from the rest of the team to boost the tally its really important although for us these days rare, we cant afford to fail in this so that is my first hope for this seasons newbies.

36 Serie A goals for Higuaín last season, he is a perfect example of a clinical striker.
