It will eventually cost Klopp a few points to decide on who'll be here next season and who won't

I don't think it is Klopp's fault particularly. But I don't like the way he tried to justify his decision in his post-match interview. It seemed like he was trying to deflect any blame away from himself.

Of course he's going to explain or justify why he did it. Nothing wrong with doing that and at least he wasn't hiding from the fact behind the word 'character'.

It's fine that Klopp subbed Lovren off, as he was on a yellow. He probably also heard the chants and stick Dejan got from the home crowd.

It just baffles me that Klopp didn't throw Kolo on instead of f*cking Skrtel. Kolo has been immense when he has played recently IMO.

And as I said above: Skrtel has NOT been immense at any time. The previous match with the U21's on Wednesday he got sent off ffs! And he isn't even 100 % match fit yet.

Agreed!

In that situation I just couldn't believe he was pulling Pelle's shirt. It wasn't even a dangerous situation. Skrtel and Migs had it covered without the pulling.

Just why doesn't he run and do his job instead of pulling all the f*cking time?

A joke of a defender IMO! frown

We've had countless players with severely limited ability on the pitch and bad attitude as well during the last 20 years. It's a shame to see Skrtel who is an average footballer but a positive, whole-hearted warrior getting so much stick.

It's true, this is a guy who loves liverpool, has a liverpool tattoo and is capable of a big performance, but is inconsistent, because he too is defensively lacking.

Sorry, but in games like this (as it turned out in the second half), Joe Allen simply isn't the solution. Too easily pushed off the ball and loses too many 50/50 challenges.

Kolo Touré should have come on for Lovren instead of Skrtel (or why not keep Lovren on?), and Henderson on for Allen.

When they started to dominate the midfield after Mane came on Klopp should have put Henderson on for Sturride in a 5 midfield team, bad decision from Klopp. Lovren was replaced because of his yellow card and he was struggling

if you watch his post-match interview he claims he didn't have the players available to prevent being overrun in midfield yet he leaves Hendo on the bench.

He is no more honest then any other manager and in my opinion is quite evasive.
