Don't think he will be doing that again in a hurry. Skrtel is not really dependable any more. Too many mistakes in him. I think he will the one to go this summer

Bad decision then. Skrtel has been getting away with performances like that for years and he's usually the main culparate when we have these collapses, which have happened a lot over the last few years. Hopefully that will be the last we see of Skrtel for Liverpool. So frustrating given Man City lost, fourth would have been well and truly on. Huge mistake by Klopp.

Skrtel's first game after his injury was for the U21's in the cup against West Ham on Wednesday.

In that game he managed to get sent off (2 yellow cards).

He gets subbed on today, and manages to get a yellow card and causing an unnecessary penalty after only 4 minutes on the pitch!

He is involved in all the Soton goals.

What a terrible player! Hope we don't have to see him in an LFC shirt ever again!

Oh, and to me it was also obvious when Koeman put Mané and Wanyama on, that we needed more muscle power in the middle of the park.

Sorry, but in games like this (as it turned out in the second half), Joe Allen simply isn't the solution. Too easily pushed off the ball and loses too many 50/50 challenges.

Kolo Touré should have come on for Lovren instead of Skrtel (or why not keep Lovren on?), and Henderson on for Allen.

I understand why he took Lovren off, he was on a yellow, and was looking like he was going to get a second.

What I do think Klopp was at fault for was not getting hendo on when it was clear we were losing the midfield in the second half

Perhaps he had problems with his match fitness, but then again, if he's fit enough to sit on the bench, then he's fit enough to play.

I don't think we can totally blame klopp, I'm not sure he was to know Skrtel and Sakho would have a mini collapse together. I think that is a partnership notorious for not doing well though, it's funny I mentioned what types of defenders supplement each other as a factor a few weeks ago on here not to blow my own trumpet
