First time Leicester have failed to score in a match all season, and the commentator was mentioning how they have managed to score many goals in the last 10 minutes so far this season. I was pleased with how Lovren headed the ball clear at 2 or 3 moments in the match and how he passed the ball. (Even though one pass was easily intercepted by Leicester mid way through the second half)
There is still some sloppiness at the back, for example when Leicester took the long throw in and it hit Sakho almost unexpectedly, Mignolet somehow ended up on top of it, if that had gone in it could have been a different story. But we dominated the match, our gameplan worked, the players restricted Leicester to one shot on target. I think this lessens the false dawn talk, because there is no dawn, we should realize each result is down to our gameplan/tactical setup and performance working in harmony.
The Lovren-Sakho partnership without Skrtel works well in general, and someone else mentioned the amount of goals we give away with Skrtel in the team (which is strange to me because I think Skrtel has been colossal for liverpool down the years). But Lovren and Sakho partnership coincidentally managed a clean sheet in our best performance last season in our 3-0 away win over spurs, so there is good signs.
