We had some good times, but we've grown apart. We've met somebody new.
It's not you Brendan, it's us.

Look, when Dalglish left we were talking about Brendan Rodgers or Roberto Martinez taking over. Now we're talking about Carlo Ancelotti or Jurgen Klopp. I call that progress.
He was a vast improvement on Roy and in many ways (league performance and total squad strength) than Dalglish.

He brought us some of the best times in recent memory. Whether you belive it was him or suarez, he was still in charge. If not for two fatal moments he would have neen the one who took us back to where we belong. He had to go but ill be forver grateful for that

The only progress is who we're talking about and let's not forget that it's reported Klopp turned us down in the summer. Why would he take the job now? I'm not getting my hopes up as its down to FSG who we get so I'm expecting Rodgers mk2!

He's a very good coach that got us playing the best football I've seen us play since Roy Evans. We lost the title because Gerrard (still my favorite player) choked on a very routine pass. He has good presence, and I think he's a good manager.
That routine pass would never of happened with a different manager at the helm. There was no reason to play the ball back. This was one tactic that every fan was blasting BR for at the time, his tactic of playing the ball back and starting attacks with the defence. A tactic which caused no end of problems for us and made a lot of mistakes. Playing the best football since Roy Evans. Seriously. BR's brand of football has largely been [oops] except for a few months in 2014 and even at that, I wouldn't class shitting yourself in the last minute of the game expecting the opposition to score as quality football. Just for the record Evans' tactics cost us big time as well, he was clueless.

And all season we made that pass without fuking it up, but we made a mistake once and paid for it. That's football. We scored over 100 goals that season and we were playing some the most exciting football that season I've ever seen. His win ratio (53%) is better than any premier league manager we've had, bar Rafa look it up. Do you remember the hidings we were giving to City, United, Spurs, and Arsenal? We did the double over United. When was the last time we had a manager do that? We were snotting the best teams in the country. Do you remember the crazy goals we scored? Suarez's ridiculous Norwich goal? Sturridge's wiggly arms? Freaking Flannagan's volley against Spurs? Look, this past season and a half has been shitt, and it's time for him to go, but bloody hell he made us dream again that year. If you didn't enjoy that year, I don't see how you can call yourself a Liverpool fan.

.
His win ratio is actually 50%. Rafa's is 56%. Houllier's is 53%. Kenny's is 48%. Evans' 50.41%. So he's 4th best out of 6. Hodgson's hardly counts though. So in truth Rodger's has hardly done a better job than Souness and he actually won something whilst here and started building for the future. Rodgers has spent close to 300 million, which is more money than our previous managers could have dreamt about. Suarez carried us in 13/14, Rodgers had [oops] all to do with that season, as we have seen with Suarez. If that's his crowning glory, he needs to go back down a division or 2. Bodgers' win ratio this season is 27%
