Meh. it happens. We had plenty of decisions go against us in the past. Sterling had a goal ruled out incorrectly against City 2 years ago, and City had a few dodgy goals that season too. If those had gone our way, we'd have won the title. That's how football is sometimes.

IMO it was a foul on Lovren and Coutinho was offside. We won, this is what is important though, however, we cannot keep on performing like this, it is unacceptable.

Redsforchampions- I suggest you look at the game again mate. we were not overran. what chances did they create, what did our goalie have to do. Not at our best against a very good team. They are very impressive. Name one bad player in their team. their left back was outstanding. Ritcie could do a job in most teams, etc. we have no right to walk over teams. it was obvious that such a small club with their profile would be busting a gut in every way last night. Give them some credit and then realise that when seen in context we did OK.

No he isn't!

Sanchez is on the left wing, and Gomez is on our left side.

Also, and more importantly Gomez did a really good job last night, and doesn't look at all to be just 18 years old. The lad was born 1997! Really impressive display from him yesterday!

Sanchez played on the right side for the majority of their game against Crystal Palace but their whole midfield 5 is interchangeable except for Coquelin..

I'm sure Sanchez will line up against Gomez next week and that will be a serious test for him as he won't come up against a better opponent in the Premiership.

I noticed that Liverpool have completely dumped the pass and move, make triangles, press and pressure power play.
Its mostly pass and stroll and don't make an angle, hit 50-50 balls, and follow the play.

I watched the game on the couch and found myself more interested in preening the dead skin off my feet with my new foot grinder.
