Yes the players take some blame but he makes too many mistakes
We need a goal against villa he brings on glen Johnston for peats sake
Is that how you spell Pete in Ireland?
Didn’t know CJ was a fellow Ireland’r, anyway theres always been a lot of peat in Ireland, a day digging turf (should read ‘cutting’) in the bog is the hardest days work you’ll ever put in, and I’ve done it a few times. So yes using ‘peat’ instead of ‘pete’ is understandable in the circumstances! Seamus Heaney Nobel Prize Winner often referred to bog in his poems, not that I”m a fan of his, let me pot it this way:
Seamus
With his squat leaded spade,
Where his fathers sweat has made
Of bog a place to grow,
He also dug to find;
Though not his fathers kind-
A crop that he could grow,
And reap his harvest, wrought
With studied reticence,
And honied abstruse thought.
But north’s bog’s are deep,
Where rock of ages keep
Tare from planted corn,
And a breath of native prose
On his comet’s pulsing rose,
Would reap a crown of thorns,
For an artist that is taught,
That whatever he may say;
Better he say naught!
On this alter bare and bleak,
He honed his speak no speak,
and won a clique’s acclaim;
For whom art and muse are mute,
In a wanton age of loot,
That dare not speak it’s name,
Save in abstract little riddles,
And little academic tiddles!
