Gerrard was close to joining Chelsea twice and Man City once, during his career here. I can see him joining up with Mourinho and stabbing LFC fans in the back.

You are only capable of seeing negative things for LFC so your look into the future is hardly surprising is it!

"Stabbing LFC fans in the back" is way too much. He's done his job for this club, with distinction for over 2 decades. He's been well rewarded, yes, but he has nothing to feel guilty over.

If he shows up at Anfield in ANY other teams colours, he'll get nothing but grateful applause from me.

Can't see him going anywhere else but us.. He gets ridiculed by derogatory songs about him almost every team we play against - why would he now want to play for any of them????

I don't recall City fans slagging him, maybe that would be a decent move if he doesn't come back to us. Can't see him going to Chelsea after all the bad blood between the two clubs down the years.. his decision tho, good luck to him smile
