Now I know it has been stated that Stevie G has left to play in the USA to avoid playing against us, but it us inevitable with the break in the USA, that he will join a team on loan next season, in my opinion.

Now if we were given a chance to sign him on loan, I suspect we would turn that chance down, having Stevie G, gives BR too many headaches in my opinion, especially with the struggle to fit a waning Stevie G in the first team.

Now I can't see him joining a team on loan, whom would not play in the Prem, Gerrard has a young family, making the move to the USA is a big change but moving his family to Spain, Italy, Germany then back to the USA would be too much of a move.

I also can't see Gerrard joining our biggest rival Manchester Utd, or even Everton.

But if the chance came I could see him being a squad player for Man City, Chelsea or Arsenal on loan.

Who says he'll go on loan? Not every one who plays in the mls does and he might fancy a decent holiday for once.

With the age that Gerrard is, and his injury history, I think that LA and Gerrard will realize that an extended break without football, professional training sessions will not be beneficial to him.

That is why I can see him joining a team on loan.

While we have had the plaudits from BR, if I was BR I would be happy not to have the Gerrard issue next season as well.

So he can win the epl title and that medal he deserves

I have a feeling he will join Man City on loan to replace Lampard.

It will enable him to keep his family in the north west before he joins LA full time.

Seems not obvious to me, I would accept that as well, I have no real dislike of Man City.

Must say that I would like that for him and if Mourinho wants him, that would be the best chance for him to win that medal which every great player of his calibre deserves.

He'd be better off going to City to win it. Plus I don't think he'd want to play for that absolute cvnt and he'd be dead to me if he did.

But he plays fair so there's no way Chelsea would want him.

He would have to play a certain number of games to be eligible for a medal and would have to be back in the US before the end of our season.

When this was all first announced bookies were giving odds of 6/1 that he would come back on loan to us. Within a couple of days this generous offer was withdrawn.

If he came back it would be to cover an injury or to rest a player. Even then he would be limited to the number of games/minutes he would be allowed to play by his new club.

Nah, he'll never play for such an a.s.s of a manager.
