You are correct. I was a little disappointed with him leaving, but he hardly set the world alight at Chelsea. Still, I think we could have used him with the dire lack of creativity we had that season.

I agree, he's one of those players who's weirdly remembered as better than he was. It was the timing of his departure that was an issue, but wasn't exactly a big miss that we cashed in on.
