To be honest with you, I would love for Rafa to succeed. In fact his first 100 games were more successful than that of Wenger and Fergie. But his negative tactics to everything is something I don't want to see everytime I watch Liverpool play. Over the last two season it seems as if we're playing in a much more negative temp, compared to before. Fair enough against the big teams (last season), where we did come at teams and break them. But for weak teams we just lay back and wait until the 80th minute comes up and everyone has an immediate static up their arses. Rafa isn't going to change his tatics, because that's him for you. I must admit that he has some good contacts- players from Valencia and so on. But another manager could do the same thing with 50 million, and would hopefully not play with a similar negative approach to games. Thinking about just a few games this season, we could have easily reached 4th- maintaining the lead against Arsenal (although that wasn't really his tactics, just unluck, but we didn't attack at 1-1 really); Birmingham whom we should've beaten. Stoke who we should've killed before conceding at the end; Wigan who we should've attacked from the first minute; Portsmouth!!!; even Scum Unt, if we had played Babel earlier god knows what would've happened earlier, at least he was running at defenders. I want him to succeed, but he won't change, so I would want Maureen.
