This has got ridiculous. I'm no more impressed than the anyone else (although I expected much of it) but Ballo is not a striker who can play on his own or deals with responsibility well (read his agents comments from months back) which is exactly what has now been put on him. Sturridge is out and it's quite clearly shows BR/FSG you need 3 top strikers not 1 and a half.
Further to that, with buying how we do and as he is instructed with the majority of youngsters who haven't magically settled it begs the question who would have done much better given the criteria they would be set to work under? Many top managers that are regularly called for wouldn't even give it the time of day.
He will improve along with the team; what has failed miserably is the expectation of the board for the season and the plan they had to ensure progress.

We sold our star striker at a time when LFC was fast becoming a major force in the BPL and soon to be, CL - just the defence which needed attention. and used up all that lovely lolly on mediocre players. It's all very well bringing in "bright" young talent, BUT without quality and experience, no amount of teambuilding/coaching/etc makes for a winning team. To those who believe that we are going through a re-building phase and will only get better in time is living in cloud cuckoo land. BR has been shown up for what he is - clueless. Its time to kill mediocrity once and for all. We the poor suffering fans can accept nothing less. Had it up to here ffs!!

And so, it begins again. Bring back Rafa bring back rafa? he had his time and failed. awful football aswell. Since 1990, with the exception of Messers Houllier & Rafa we have had to endure nothing but mediocrity.

i think we need to give BR some more rope just to be sure. Else the football world will get on our back for failing to support him,

We sold him and might well have spunked the money away, Not good enough for Liverpool FC

Joint 4th in the Prem, still in CL and every chance of getting to group stages.
Above Man Utd, Arsenal and Spurs in the Prem.
West Ham and Southampton will soon drop down the table.
AND YOU WANT TO SACK BR???
IDIOTS.
DO you all yearn for the dire stuff we played under Kenny and Woy?

Rodgers may have taken his eye off the ball. Gets the big gig. Gets a new set of teeth. Dumps his wife of xx many years. Finds a wee young thing. Leaves that lovely house we all saw on that Liverpool documentary. Moves into a Bachelors Pad. Has a ransom scuffle with someone in the street. And starts buying random squad players this season. And for me it doesn't matter about having crapper players provided there is the same level of intensity. But that has disappeared out of sight. Something is wrong. He's taken his eye of the ball.
