if lallana had been fit all pre season played every game since you might have a case , but no pre season injured since the world cup and has shown improvement every time he has played he was outstanding against everton my man of the match .

He's worse than rubbish. Apart from his first 3 months he has been our worst player in nearly every single game. He really needs to move on - Celtic would probably be a good place for him.

Coutinho is fine. I don't understand the heat he is getting. The whole team is disjointed at the moment so we can't blame coutinho just as much as we can't blame balotelli for the lack of goals. Judge him when the team starts firing.

Coutinho is NOT fine. He has been really REALLY poor for well over 12 months now. He is a very weak link for us at the moment and needs to be moved on/upgraded.

He looked great this summer, and I thought this would be his breakout year when he finally found some consistency. Unfortunately, he seems to have regressed. His feet just move too fast for his brain sometimes, which isn't a good sign - reminds me of Babel in that way. Technically gifted but mentally deficient. I'd keep him around until next summer to see if he can get out of the rut he's in, but I think his long-term home is Spain, where he'd benefit from a more open style of play. And as much as I'd like to see him given a chance here, I think that's where Suso will end up as well.
