why is everything a fckin arse box of an approach? nothing is easy, everything is complicated, moneyballing, "a player for the future", southampton's finest, did great with swansea, isn't mental anymore (mario) , got a cool foreign name you've never heard.
fck this, just do the simple thing fsg. csn you not just develop a backbone and what, agree with the rest of the group?

I remember a certain poster on here saying united would make top 4 last season and we probably wouldn't. I wont mention who but he's a bit of a whiney b1tch.... Well that can't be me you are referring to I am very positive indeed I want us to have a top stadium and compete for titles and champions leagues. Phew ! Thank god it was not me you were referring to.

I saw a bit of the first half today. they played quite well and had a couple of good chances before they scored. when you see a teamsheet with De Gea, Van Persie, Di Maria, Rooney (suspended today), Mata, Falcao... you can see that they have enough players to make the difference. That's perhaps why they won 2-1 and we got pegged at 1-1.
The Bild guy looks ok as a DM... it won't take too many signings for them to have quite a decent team.

Like you say just the defence and they will be challenging Chelsea and city again plus from what I read in the papers they will spend big again in January and probably the summer. Next season they will be after the title again and I would not bet against top four this session. Investment and vision something we don't have

one word. potential. they have it, we dont. I didn't think potential was very good? It's not for any player we buy with it? Potential is good provided it materialises Who's to say theirs will? It was a statement as if it's a good thing regardless yet our potentials are not and never will be good in some eyes.

i would generally agree with that but they look very very top heavy and an injury to Blind would leave them with no real cover in DM at all. Also to me they have looked like Do Maria united. If he gets injured, despite all their attacking players, they are left without anyone who can break lines.

time will tell in relation to rodgers, but as it stands we are worse since suarez left. much worse, and we spent a lot of money for the pleasure.
ive better things to be doing then sitting around doing research and building a plan for te club just for your benefit, i actually have a life ya know. (which im about to head off to now)
but ill leave you with this: im telling you now fsg are moneyballing, selling the great players for profit and trying to appease the fans with a walmart team, walmart manager and praying to christ we will win something so they can continue with their agenda. this is not how you run a successful club and yet you think the "fan" thing to do is to sit around and look for how we are trying to be a successful club. that is whats actually futile. There might, just might, be some truth in that, but you won't be getting your ideas across by making such ridiculous statements as mentioned in the OP. Any manager who can come within a whisker of the title, and who can finish above the much vaunted Mourinho with a limited squad is very, very real. As to the players, do you think that Johnny Evans is proper while Skrtle is not? Is Lampard more proper than Gerrard? Or Aguero than Sturridge? Being perpetually negative is as bad as being perpetually positive is unrealistic.
