The news report actually says that they fully expect the next TV deal to increase revenue by 60% for the premier league. I don't see how you can see that as the bubble burst Stan?
Virgin are only trying to take this to court because they can't afford to purchase any of the tv packages.
This tv deal with £3b next tv deal will be sold for £4.5b! Meaning revenues for clubs will sky rocket again in two years. This will make the top teams in the premier league the most powerful in world football. Madrid and Barcelona won't be able to compete with English clubs for transfers, wages or players in the next few years.
World football is on the brink of being completely dominated by English teams.

I will read it tommorriw watching warrington vs Wigan and tommrrow going to anfield I briefly read the article sounds like virgin are after more games to be televised and shared between operators which will bring more money in uk fans instead of buying BT and sky will have to add virgin to that lot. I can only speak personally but they can shove that one. You would be looking at £100 a month plus £50 every time at anfield I think I will move to Mauritius

Anyway, unless you can fork out half a million Euros to buy a property and get a residence permit, you'll get a maximum of I think 3 months tourist visa. Can't see you paying that kind of money after complaining on ticket and subscription prices.

From the article here's the facts
Britain is the most expensive in Europe and therefore the world. £51 minimum cost for sky in the uk, £600 a year. In Germany £21, Italy £18, and spain £25. Now perhaps marko thinks the uk us three times more rich than Germany ?
The next bid us expected to increase sixty per cent. Who will pay that do you think ?
Got it in one the uk armchair fan !
That proves conclusively what I have been saying the demand is highest in the uk. But the uk armchair fan us about to suffer major pain which we match going fans have had to suffer for years.
Enjoy boys
And I am moving to Belgrade or mauritous we will all have to if we want to watch Liverpool this is crazy

I live in oz the wage here is quite high but as I said I only pay equivalent of about 25 quid a month I get it for the epl but I could watch afl , rugby whatever so I don't think it's based on income demographics tbh Sixties, the price will always be based on demand in a market but the demand at a given price will depend on the disposable income as well as the price of substitute.
