Footie is almost back and finally we will be able to watch the plan coming together again as we play Villa off the park. Cant wait. We are going places guys, another exciting season is upon us.
I hope so and I personally think it will because of Rodgers but it depends on the new signings if they don't come good it will land on FSG's head people expectations have increased after last season i think people will question rodgers if the transfers dont come off.

Oh, that's nice. Funny though, you must be a newly formed Liverpool supporter because i clearly remember you saying you expected us to be 4th or 5th last season and even siding with JoeCoolFlames saying we were closer to Swans and WBA than we were to the top clubs. I remember you saying we had no chance of challenging for the title and that only a fool would have written united off last season.
Back to the point though, last season you didn't expect us to challenge for the title, let alone win it...and as you pointed out, Liverpool fans know no other way than to expect to be challenging every year. I expected us to challenge and win, as i do now...guess that makes me more of a Liverpool supporter, according to your criteria. I did expect fourth or fifth last season and so did almost everyone but given I was pleasantly surprised my expectations have now lifted we finished second last year I want to go one better. I hope acceptable

I don't think its wise to underestimate Villa, I hope you are right and we demolish them like we did vs tottenham but Villa have taken 7 points in the last 3 Anfield visits, they have a pacy attack upfront that will no doubt test our defence. Hopefully its an easy game and 3 points to take that into midweek but I wouldn't be cocky if I was you. I agree fully, they are not to be taken lightly at all, but we have a much better squad now, we have gelled and i just have a feeling we will put a few past them, even though they are a tough team to break down and are dangerous on the counter. Not being cocky, just feeling confident.

They will but they will also say FSG did not invest right level etc. People don't like failure

anything other than us giving the title a real good go, for me would be considered failure (league wise). A trophy of any sort for me is a must, Rodgers needs to turn his wins into trophies.
