I like the optimism, but I am not convinced that we will comfortably win the next two games at all to be honest. I hope that, by the time we play palace, Liverpool have shaken off any feelings of injustice that were apparent in Rodgers post match interview. we need to forget any notion that gerrard 'deserves' this title (much as he does)- it doesn't work like that. we also need to shake off any feeling that we have a right to the title, and have been cheated by chelsea. Their tactics infuriated me yesterday, but it has happened and we have to move on. we should have seen it coming really and I think it is a lesson to us all. Rodgers and the players tactically, and perhaps some fans in believing we would beat them with ease following mourinho'c comments that he would play a weakened team etc. if we beat palace, I believe something will go for us and we will win it, but i think the big risk is we go into that game with palace thinking we have suffered an injustice and don't have our minds on the game. we need massive support for that game, and I just hope that between now and then, we get our heads together. we need to go into that game realising that we still have a chance IF we win that game. If we lose it, or even draw, I think it is curtains I am afraid. It has been an absolutely brilliant season whether we win the league or not, and we have a lot to be grateful for and feel optimistic about, but I just hope we can keep our heads together against palace. any kind of win will do, but we need to remember what Rodgers has said all season - we focus on the performance and the result comes from that. YNWA.
Don't understand why you say there was an injustice yesterday, there was no mistake by the ref and they were 2 valid goals. Ok, one team chose to attack to win the game and the other team chose to defend and nick one, the latter won within the rules of the game.
