Lads I honestly think there is another twist in the race for the title. People seem to forget that we are still 2 points ahead at the top...I know city have a game in hand and potiental points.. but as the old saying goes...id rather be looking at them than looking for them. Everton is never an easy place to go...and Villa have a habit of shocking some of the "bigger" teams. Call me a bonkers if you want but I believe its fate..with the year thats in it(hillsborough anniversary)..we've been winning games where we previously would have dropped points. The pressure will all be on city now..everyone says its a done deal...but they cant afford a slip up. Now if it were purple noses team a few yrs back with the games in hand I would say its all over...but with city you never know..can they handle the pressure of will they crack? A lot came happen in football..lets get behind the team and BELIEVE. YNWA

Have to agree with you Rugger on much of that especially Villa and it's the mid-week one I believe.

As for our next game I'm expecting a lot of frustration and pent up anger from losing to be expended. 6-0 thrashing for me if Sturridge hasn't done any new damage and starts.

Villa are fighting to stay up, Everton for Europe and as you say, West Ham can park it with the best of them. Just ask the Chosen One.

We're in the best position still and that's in front with the points on the board. You ask City and they'll wish they were where we are.

Their tactics infuriated me yesterday, but it has happened and we have to move on. we should have seen it coming really and I think it is a lesson to us all. Rodgers and the players tactically, and perhaps some fans in believing we would beat them with ease following mourinho'c comments that he would play a weakened team etc. if we beat palace, I believe something will go for us and we will win it, but i think the big risk is we go into that game with palace thinking we have suffered an injustice and don't have our minds on the game. we need massive support for that game, and I just hope that between now and then, we get our heads together. we need to go into that game realising that we still have a chance IF we win that game. If we lose it, or even draw, I think it is curtains I am afraid. It has been an absolutely brilliant season whether we win the league or not, and we have a lot to be grateful for and feel optimistic about, but I just hope we can keep our heads together against palace. any kind of win will do, but we need to remember what Rodgers has said all season - we focus on the performance and the result comes from that. Don't understand why you say there was an injustice yesterday, there was no mistake by the ref and they were 2 valid goals. Ok, one team chose to attack to win the game and the other team chose to defend and nick one, the latter won within the rules of the game.
