Somehow Borini reminds me of Kuyt but with pace.
Hope he comes back. Would be a good squad player.

Not too sure about touch but Kuyt was way ahead of him in terms of confidence. Think Johnson would be more useful (we need a left footed winger) and Borini should be ready to be on the bench more often than not, because he will be a third choice, far behind SAS. Aspas would probably leave.

Kuyt had stones, no argument there. Borini has very good technique though. I'd say better than Kuyts. I don't know if you've been watching him for Sunderland, but on the ball I think he's superior.

Overall, i don't see him better that Kuyt, at least not now.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Dirk Kuyt. He had boss positioning, a good finish, an engine, and he always came through in the clutch. Borini doesn't quite have the stones or character Dirk did, but he can do things with the ball Kuyt can't. How many times can you think of Kuyt beating someone on the dribble? Or hitting a screamer? Borini does things like that on occasion. His little knock downs and one touch passes are really good too.

Definitely deserves another chance. His form and confidence is much improved. Can't rely on SASAS all the time.

In his first season, he was very good at finding that bit of space in front of goals but his finishing let him down. He will be a good player to have back but if we were offered 10m+ for him, I would cash him in.

He's a better option than Aspas,so he's probably on a par with the Anfield cat.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.
