I would say he's won the passing, but that's not even true anymore.

Suarez was already on that path, but was quite unlucky hitting the post I don't know how many times, Hendo needed time being still young, Allen was bought by BR, Sterling got in the first team under KD at still 17 years old and Flano has improved only recently for a few games, Kelly was way in front of him if you remember. The signs were there already. That said I don't want to change managers yet again and lose 2 more years as we just did.

so just pull that rabbit out the hat after the utter sh1te that was left at the club and a club in freefall under dalglish .

And we have improved by 2 points from a club in freefall after spending 94m, great achievement.

Rodgers has had to work with a tighter budget e.g. lower wage bill etc. I don't like this whole comparing to Rodgers to Dalglish because for me Dalglish did make errors yes, but in my opinion he still wasn't given enough time to change things around. However what we are getting with Rodgers is a squad full of young, good players who are dominating games and we are getting results. The expectation has been higher than ever because of our promising start, and the fact that we were able to maintain that form up until our last two fixtures; well that shows how well Rodgers and the team have done given the lack of resources available to them. You can talk about flop signings all day, there is not one manager in the country who doesn't make them.. it's not even worth mentioning at this moment of time. What is worth noting though if you are comparing Dalglish's team to Rodgers, Brendan seems to be getting so much more out of players who never really performed under Dalglish such as Henderson, Sterling, Flannagan etc.

Since you asked -

Net Spend

Rodgers - £72 million
Kenny - £40 million
Rafa's Last season - 6 million
2nd place finish season - £22 million

its never net its always gross , but the benitez quote doesnt tell the real story does it when liverpool only finished paying aquilani's wages last august 2013 , plus the massive FIVE year deal he got himself

Sterling was 16 when Kenny took over here.
Flanagan was 17, too young for a defender to break in to the first team.

Henderson took a while to get going and Kenny had a much stronger midfield regardless, Jordan was a player for the future.
