oh ok so suarez and sturridge and coutinho not good enough for you then , the answer was carroll and adam and downing , oh ok mate . Kenny had lined up Diame to join us on a free, Sturridge had been on the cards since Hodgson was in charge, FSG have already said they were waiting for his value to drop before making an offer, hence why we waited until Jan, rather than the Summer. Kenny was also said to be in talks with Bent and had already given plenty of chances to youth players and preparing for the future. Rodgers didn't need to sign as many players as he did or in the positions we did. Every man and their dog knew we only needed a Clinical Finisher, a DM and a new winger. Not a handful of foreign flops. diame and darren bent oh dear oh dear . Anyway, BR has had a gross spent of 94m, check the other thread, but yes, we have improved by 2 points.

as for foreign flops are they like coates , aquilani , paletta , gonzales ,leto to name a few . At least we were constantly qualifying for CL and even won a trophy under KD. What has BR achieved so far after spending 94m, you tell me.

What an utterly stupid comment. Suarez was bought in Kenny's time in charge and Sturridge was on the cards since Hodgson/Kenny was in charge, he would have been bought, no matter who was in charge. That leaves Coutinho from your list, who was apparently advised to us to sign asap by Rafa, who had bought him at Inter not long before. Joe Allen and Fabio Borini were bought by Brendan and not long after that FSG hired a transfer committee because they knew how [oops] his judgement was.
