just want to say, very much enjoying the season. feels really good to be in position we are, still, i do get frustrated when we loose a silly game ie Hull.
but loving the fact we thrashed Spurs, was prepared for a defeat. but this shows how we are changing, and winning most of the games we should be winning.
considering any team in the top flight can beat any team on their day, and added to the fact the premier league clubs are becoming more and more competative each season, shows what a good job BR is doing this season.
if we can get through the festive season in approx same position we are now, we have a great chance for top 4. i do think we will fall short of title, but we will give it the beans.
the team is showing promise, i hope our owners will back BR in the transfer window, a couple of shrewed signing should consolidate top 4, maybe more who knows ........
Good post VEXED, yeah I think it’s pretty clear we’ve improved, are more competitive and overall Rodgers has done a good job, good on coaching the younger players, if perhaps a selection and tactical blip here and there, but he’s learning and got everything spot on for the Spurs game.
I think your point about about the owners backing BR in January is key to where we finnish in the summer. Hope we sign some quality PL ready players, a good backup striker, a good defensive midfielder, and then we’ll be a real potent force.
