No one is getting carried away except the media. There's a slight euphoria and of course a few floating on cloud nine. But the majority knows a swallow doesn't make a summer.

The fans are enjoying the moment and why shouldn't we bask and soak in it for a while? I think we deserve to enjoy it until the next game.

Most people do over react after a defeat especially when it's against a team like Hull, but 24 hours later most peoples opinions have mellowed a bit and we try and look to the next game. I suppose what I'm trying to say is fcking right I'm going to go mental when we lose, I spend all fcking we looking forward to watching the team play its bound to fck me off when they don't turn up.

We will be able to fully assess the half season after the Chelsea game but in the 2nd half of the season, Arsenal, Everton, City, Spurs, Chelsea and Newcastle (the top 8 bar ourselves) come to Anfield so you're talking absolute pony about easy fixtures especially as we're 16 games in.

I think the Chelsea and City game will provide the rest of the country with their take of us, Top 4 Challengers, League Challengers or top 4 pretenders? But from the point of a Liverpool fan? I think we all know where we are, Although there our some fans who talks Rodgers out when we lose and Rodgers the genius when we win.

The truth is we have the best strike force in the Premiership, alot of potential in midfield, very well stocked in Cb and no real full backs to speak of.

I think ourselves and Arsenal have always boasted one of the best first 11's on form, but the January transfer window always couldn't come quick enough as we have some serious deficiencies we have to look at.

The thing which puts extra pressure on the City and Chelsea game is that i think we're we sit in January will be pretty huge in our attempts to sign top class talent. If we're still the form team in the league come January we will be in a fantastic position to lure players of the quality of M'vila/Tello/Montoya who can come in and immediately improve our squad and actually start to fill some of the holes in our squad.

BECAUSE should we actually get some full backs/ develop some depth and Coutinho/Hendo/Suso/Alberto continue their development and keep our ridiculous attacking 3, then the sky is the limit. I think like every Liverpool fan cautious optimism is the name of the game...Until the end of the January window, then we will truly see where we stand

I think that our main advantage is that we do not have Europe games.

I think we will finish between 6th and 8th this season as we are only in the top four because the Big four are out of sorts due to massive transition, we are also a team being kept afloat single handidly by one player in Suarez this can't last and the tougher second half of the season will find this out in my opinion, we have touched lucky up to now with easy fixtures for nearly all the beginning of the season and Suarez rich vein of form.

Nothing wrong with feet firmly planted on the ground, but where you see it as us having ' touched lucky up to now with easy fixtures' it is just as true (bar Hull) that we have convincingly beat nearly all those teams and given ourselves the chance to prove we are better than we have been in many a year. We have been patchy for what seems like forever, but by and large that can't be said for this season.

Players have reacted well to defeats, the manager has obviously done and said the right things to the weaker or younger squad members and those who needed to have stepped up.

I've been watching every game from day 1 this season loving it but expecting the inevitable blow-up but as of now it hasn't happened. Let's just try and continue to enjoy it and if Sturridge returns to a team still in with a shout, it could be a cracking finale to the campaign mate.

We play all the top 8 teams at home in the 2nd half. Enough said.

At least get your facts right as well for once. We have Hull, Villa, Swansea, Sunderland and Newcastle all at home in the 2nd half, not away as you have mistakenly said. EDIT Misread your post and thought you had all of them grouped in with "Norwich away".

You still talk a load of pony though
