top of the league without our best player and a recently completed team, I will take that thank you.

The big picture would show a team that created nothing in 90+ min’s and that fell apart under a sustained attack from Swansea in the 2nd half. The big picture also shows a distinct tendency to do that in the 2nd half in most of our recent games. The big picture also shows a lack of quality replacements in key positions.
I’ll also take the top of the table, EastMan, but I obviously see a different picture.

In recent seasons we've been appallingly bad early season and then coming good for the end. If top of the league and unbeaten is our appallingly bad then I can't wait for the rest of the season.

Sorry, I don't remember Aspas looking very good against Stoke, I might be wrong. Yesterday he was close to being completely absent and lost, he came in for Coutinho and was nowhere near in terms of contribution. Probably another Borini in a years time, I hope to be wrong.

he got a standing ovation both times he's been subbed at Anfield.

Not where I sit he didn't !!

No way did aspas get a standing ovation at anfield against stoke.

They clapped him yes and he put the effort in. But I think he is limited from what I have seen but better than boriini but that's not saying much

You don’t deal with any of the points I made there jammysht, however I hope the “rest of the season” keeps fine for you, and if it does, nobody will be happier than myself.

I would rather take the opinion on those who were at the game, sorry. Clapping for effort may look like a standing ovation for a top performance on tv.
