He played well but with Skrtel a brain freeze could happen at any moment,tough decision.

agreed, we seen this before. Skrtel turns into Canavaro for one or two games, and then Traore mode kicks in.

He did play well last week, but he still scares me. Only two payers have scared me more David James & Phil Babb

I would only drop Skittles if Toure is available. I would not drop him for Sakho. SAKHO IS A BEAST, but he is also left footed, as is Agger. Two left footed cb's on the pitch at the same time spells trouble to me, unless we are playing with 3 CB's.

I'm not sure you can call it form though if its only been one game, bit like trying to call one data point a trend

I'm torn on this one though. Really want to see Sakho play, but Skrtle had a good game and deserves a chance, and i'm not really a fan of changing CB's mid game unless its forced, especially if the game is tight

Ive always liked Skrtel and i dont see this thing how some think he is easily replacement and a week link in the team. I think Agger is a sure for the X11 with him being vice-captain. I sell Coates and have Toure, Agger, Sahko and Skrtel fitting for there places with ilori playing in the cups.

To answer your questions:

A)Id keep him in the team, let one of the new lads have a run out if things are going ok.

B) Its a hard one as nobody has seen 2 of them play yet but i feel it could end up being Agger and Toure/Sahko. I personally feel Rodgers doesnt feel Skrtel fits the mould.

There is a long way to go this season and we may need all 5 of them if cup runs go well, also thinking more long term.. if we can get CL football next year i think we are well set in this area

Keep the same team (aside of injuries). If you change the team to accommodate Sahko and we lose, then what? Drop Sahko? What will that do to his confidence? It puts far too much pressure on Sahko or anyone else that is brought in to a winning team - particularly in central defence where mistakes are so costly. BR should leave it as is. I'm happy to win the rest of the games with the same eleven and leave the rest on the bench. We're almost bound to lose our way at some point (sadly) - that'll be the time to bring in the new players.

The defence was the best part of the team against Man U! Why change it?
