Agree with Hendo on this one. Carrol offered something 'different' and we all know how that ended. Not that Ba's not a good player (though I personally don't think he's that great either), but I don't think we'd get the best out of him without changing are playing style

I don't get it mate, are you saying you'd rather nothing than Demba Ba on a season long loan? It doesn't look like we're after anyone so all I'm saying is Ba would be perfect at least as cover for Borini. The guy scored almost 30 goals in about 50 appearances for Newcastle (and they weren't playing long ball football or anything, they were a decent passing side that season), anyone who'd say no to the prospect of that on a loan needs their head testing (no offence).

Yeah I agree with you completely mate, but at the moment we're not being linked to anyone, Borini is about to leave and Demba Ba is available for a season long loan, we don't have to buy him permanently so if it doesn't work out we're OK. It makes perfect sense to me, I don't understand why you'd disagree.

Talk of us changing our system to accommodate him is so inaccurate, he did unbelievably well in Newcastle's system the season they finished 5th and they were a very good football side, they didn't play long ball. I wouldn't expect Ba to start every week, he'd be backup to Suarez and Sturridge. Arsenal are after him, they play great football and already have a big man upfront without worrying about changing their system - why can't we?

Ba fit well into Newcastle's aggressive style, but couldn't make it at Chelsea, he would take too long to settle into BR's style..

Now Lukaku on loan, that'd be nice, I thought he was staying at Chelsea this time.

Why would Lukaku be a good loan option and Ba not? Other than the loan fee for Ba being stupid money. Lukaku is a big lad, but would fit better into our system than Demba Ba?

Lukaku being different to what Everton already have doesn't seem to have put them off.

The only thing Ba does is score goals. WTH do we need that for when we can win every game 1-0 with super Danny.
