On current squads I'd pick Spurs for 4th and for Liverpool to battle with Arsenal for 5th.

But Bale will be sold

35 mil is a bit much though, id rather papadopoulous and Erikson for that money

William for 30m, please don't break my diaphragm. I would take Eriksen and Toby for 30m.

There is a difference between "evolution" and "revolution." Spurs fans may think they are going through the latter, but it depends on a lot of factors. The manager, the togetherness of the group, the complimentary nature of players, current fitness etc... By changing so much so quickly, and relieving the club of the good squad depth they have to help fund it, alongside 2 players in Dempsey and Bale who contributed a lot of goals and assists, the risk factor is huge. Exciting to see so many good players come in, yes... Guaranteed it is going to work, no chance... Would I trade positions, after our display vs theirs, no way!

Why is 5th hard now? Arsenal have done bugger all so far. On paper it looks as though spurs have strengthened but it's what you do on the pitch that matters, not how good you look on paper. Only time will tell.

Interesting to note that nobody had picked up on the fact that Spurs have signed Soldado,Chadli,Paulinho,Capoue and Willian (supposedly). Thats like a whole new midfield!

They've also sold Bale(gonna happen), Livermore,Huddlestone,Dempsey and Parker. Given that it always takes foreign players at least 1 year before playing their best stuff (think Suarez,Mata etc ) then they are under a lot of pressure IMO.

Despite what the papers are reporting, respectable people are claiming that LFC are confident we will get willian and that as far as they are aware, spurs havent even tabled a bid. I am very confused now. I dont see Spurs going in for him, despite his agent trying to get them to make a move.
