I think the Champions League should be for the champion s of each country. Not first to fourth. Just first. The champions. This only view will spread the money out to other countries that need it to get their football back to where it was. I remember when Prague, Red Star etc used to be a European force but now don't have the money to compete. With that logic, does that infer that we did not deserve the champions league in 2005? thought we deserved to get there, not win it on the nite and I thought we should never of been allowed to play in it in the first place, just my opinion, we were the better team on the nite in Athens tho and never won it... What the hell is a nite?

Not bothered about this competition at all.
I would like us to try to win it but this has to be our lowest priority i disagree strongly, this I our best chance of silverware if we take it serious, that has to be our aim ahead of our top 6 or 7 place which we will get regardless, stanley can't believe you want exactly the same season as last, honestly...

Those are our priorities in order of importance. That said, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to win them. I agree, a good cup run is always important. We need trophies to expand our history, rather than indulging in how many we have.
