Here is what the new system should consist of:

There should at least be around 2-3 mods.

The notify button should stay, where mods evaluate the situation and pass it along Dunk only they can decide whether the offense is worthy to be passed along to the big man.

There should be a thumbs up, thumbs down. Where again mods are able to evaluate comments with many thumbs down. In this way it is easier to detect consistent infringement. For example consistent posts about 'Liverpool being bought by a billionare' or insulting the manager rather than a critical evaluation.

And lastly there should be a 2 strike policy. First strike= a temporary ban and 2nd strike = permanent ban.

Forget Car, he's in a better place now.

You've seen it happen though, people get banned for nauwt, when others (cough*) get away with blue murder. Way to many tittle tattles on here as well, plus the odd user without a sense of humour who takes every joke as insult.

I think the petty reasons for getting banned is more of an issue than the Mods are imo.

Seems to me that you think that maybe if one user was banned (nobody in particular ) things might get a lot better. I would agree

I was talking about Deakin, he was a good user did not deserve a ban.
