LOL,I would never bother with a notify button, if someone upsets me I'll just say it to them. If I have no interest in a post then I don't reply. It may be worth doing away with the button because I don't think anything will stop posters arguing or taking offence which takes the thread off topic. I don't mind posters arguing myself I can just bypass it If I wish until I reach the back on topic posts. The arguments soon pass anyway.

Notify button is basically just a snitch button, and is seemingly well abused.
Combat zone would be used the same way, and we, the posters can then judge and execute.
